ELAINE BROWN FIRST CANDIDATE TO
QUALIFY
FOR NOVEMBER MUNICIPAL BALLOT
Elaine Brown, a candidate for mayor, who has promised to "unseat the
Republican-Confederate establishment," has become the first candidate to
qualify for the ballot in the upcoming municipal election.
Brown lashed out at the new Georgia voting law requiring government-issued, photographic ID to vote, saying, "We will not allow them to steal the election in Brunswick the way they did in Florida. We will win!" Brown continued, "New Orleans has taught us that we must fight to make sure the Republican-Confederate machine of Brad Brown and his protégés will not continue to drown the black and poor of Brunswick in the flood waters of their reactionary agenda."
Finally, Brown stated, "It's time for the people to win, and we intend to go forth from here and win in November."
